Course content
- Eyelash anatomy and structure. Hygiene;
- Introduction to materials, their types and composition;
- Preparing tint mixtures and choosing suitable shades;
- Eyelash care before and after tinting;
- Contraindications to eyelash tinting;
- Eyelash tinting - Practical work on a model;
- Assessment and analysis of completed work.
By the end of the course, the student:
- Understands hygiene requirements;
- Cleans and cares for the client's lashes safely;
- Understands the characteristics of the products used;
- Can choose a suitable tint mixture and shade for the client's lashes;
- Can tint the client's lashes;
- Uses safe working techniques and advises the client on home care.
Practical training takes place in a beauty salon, in a real working situation and environment, on a human model.
Learners have access to a professional beauty therapist's workstation and a height-adjustable stool (saddle stool). Lighting is provided by dimmable LED lamps and ring lights.
To achieve the learning outcomes
- The learner must complete all types of assignments specified by the trainer in the curriculum;
- The learner must attend all lessons unless there is a valid reason for absence;
- The learner must take part in practical training and complete a demonstration task to graduate successfully;
If the learner does not successfully complete the independent task at the end of the course, they receive a statement of participation, which allows them to return to repeat the task.
