About our study arrangements
Curriculum group: Beauty services
We aim to organise our training so that graduates' skills match the expectations and needs of the labour market as closely as possible.
Graduates of foundation training are ready to work independently in a beauty salon.
Nevertheless, we recommend completing a work placement in a beauty salon first, where possible, to refine your skills and work more efficiently.
Trainers Ande Viru and Tiivi Lõhmus:
As trainers, we are experienced beauty professionals who work in the field every day.
We hold certificates confirming the relevant competencies and have extensive experience in adult education.
We continually develop our skills to keep up with modern teaching methods and professional practice.

PRINCIPLES FOR ORGANISING THE LEARNING PROCESS IN ADULT CONTINUING EDUCATION
I General provisions
This document has been prepared on the basis of the Adult Education Act of 18.02.2015.
Sisters Beauty OÜ provides paid (contractual) training services in accordance with curricula, based on the Estonian Minister of Education's regulation of 19.06.2015,
Annex 1 to Regulation No. 27, the Continuing Education Standard.
Curricula and study plans are prepared in accordance with the Continuing Education Standard and other laws and regulations of the Government of the Republic concerning adult education.
In preparing the curriculum, we used the Ministry of Education and Research's "Guidelines for preparing a continuing education curriculum" - Sigrid Aruväli • Heli Kaldas • Einike Pilli • Signe Reppo https://www.hm.ee/sites/default/files/htm_taiendk_juhendmaterjal.pdf
We continually update curricula in line with changes and developments in the field (new materials/techniques entering the market, etc.). Fees for paid educational services are determined and approved by a resolution of the management board of Sisters Beauty OÜ.
Once approved by the board, fees are published on the Sisters Beauty OÜ website together with the course curriculum.
Other information required by the Adult Education Act is also published on the website.
These provisions establish the terms and procedures for providing paid (contractual) training services and apply to learners enrolled in Sisters Beauty OÜ adult continuing education curricula.
II Terms and procedures for concluding and terminating the service agreement
For paid (contractual) training services, the provider, Sisters Beauty OÜ, and the client, the learner (or their legal representative), conclude a paid training services agreement (hereinafter the Agreement).
The Agreement is concluded before studies begin and no later than 3 working days before the planned start date.
The learner or their legal representative pays for the course no later than 1 working day before the course begins.
A member of the management board of Sisters Beauty OÜ is responsible for ensuring that Sisters Beauty OÜ complies with the deadlines and terms of the Agreement.
A board member may remove a learner from the course if they have not paid the course fee or have otherwise breached the Agreement.
III Tuition fees
Tuition fees are established by a resolution of the management board.
No tuition fee exemptions are granted.
The management board of Sisters Beauty OÜ reserves the right to change tuition fees, but no more than 1 time per year.
The management board publishes the course price list on the company's website.
Payment is made by transferring the relevant amount to the bank account or paying cash at Sisters Beauty OÜ. Account: EE932200221063994903 Swedbank
By agreement, payment may be made in two instalments or in full for the entire course.
The student is enrolled once payment of the invoice has been received.
Before taking the final examination, the learner must pay the remaining balance of the total course fee. Learners who have not paid the full fee will not be admitted to the examination.
The payment deadline may be extended only for a valid reason, upon written application.
An extension of the payment deadline is subject to agreement between the parties.
IV Organisation of the learning process for paid (contractual) studies
Learners' rights and obligations are governed by the current Adult Education Act, these Principles for Organising the Learning Process, the Principles for Quality Assurance in Continuing Education, and the paid training services agreement concluded between the Learner (or their legal representative) and Sisters Beauty OÜ.
The learner must conscientiously complete all assignments specified in the study plan for the course and attend all lessons unless there is a valid reason for absence.
The learner must take part in practical sessions and, where required, pass an examination to complete the course successfully.
After completing the course and successfully passing the final examination, the learner receives a certificate of completion.
The certificate includes:
- Course title;
- Course period;
- Learner's name and/or personal identification code;
- Course topics and number of hours;
- The certificate is signed by the teacher and endorsed by a member of the management board of Sisters Beauty OÜ.
If the learner does not pass the final examination at the end of the course, they receive a statement of participation instead of a certificate of completion.
The issue of certificates and statements is recorded in a register stating the recipient's name, personal identification code, study period, course topic, certificate or statement number, and issue date.
On the basis of the register and payment records, Sisters Beauty OÜ's accounting department submits the prescribed information to the Tax and Customs Board concerning income tax refunds on tuition fees. This information can be used when filing an income tax return to apply for a refund for the year in which the training service was provided.
V Withdrawal of learners and tuition fee refunds
A learner is withdrawn from the course if they no longer wish to study.
The learner must give written notice of their wish to withdraw.
Withdrawal is based on the Learner's application, agreed with the chair of the management board of Sisters Beauty OÜ.
Upon withdrawal, the student is refunded 50% of the cost of unused study days.
If cancellation is notified more than 6 working days before the course starts, we refund 100% of the course fee. If cancellation is notified 3 to 5 working days before the course starts, we refund 75 % of the course fee.
If cancellation is notified 2 (or fewer) working days before the course starts, the course fee is not refunded and the invoice remains payable.
At the learner's request and by agreement with the trainer, the amount paid may be transferred as an advance payment for a later course.
If the course is cancelled due to the trainer's fault, the tuition fee is refunded to the learner in full.
The Agreement is terminated early and unilaterally:
Sisters Beauty OÜ may expel a learner who breaches study discipline, intentionally damages property or attends a lesson under the influence of drugs or alcohol. An incident report is drawn up and law enforcement authorities are involved if necessary.
An order refusing further studies is based on the learner's written explanation stating the reasons for the breach, or on a report
of refusal to provide a written explanation (a report recording the failure to submit a written explanation).
The order refusing further studies is issued within 3 working days. In this case, course fees already paid are not refunded.
If the learner's employer paid for the course, a copy of the order is sent to the employer.
The learner is expelled as of the date stated in the order. The Agreement is terminated early and unilaterally.
Money paid for the unused study period is refunded to the learner within one calendar month of termination of the Agreement.
VI Dispute resolution
The parties primarily resolve disagreements and disputes between Sisters Beauty OÜ and the Learner through negotiation.
All complaints must be submitted IN WRITING and within a reasonable time after the problem arises.
If the disagreement cannot be resolved through negotiation, the dispute is settled in court.
Approved by a resolution of the management board of Sisters Beauty OÜ on 03.07.2017.
